Warnings
The Authority closed this trail because it has been crossed by fire in August 2017 and therefore it is no safe to walk. Access to the beach is also prohibited.
How to get there
The route starts from Furore's Fjord, where you can get by car or SITA bus Amalfi-Sorrento line.Points of interest along the trail

From the road level of Furore Fjord (m 45) take the path on the right side of the Fjord. It goes up to the place called “Penna” (m 241) where the path well-defined “The Crazed Bats Trail” ends. Continue north, climbing up the stairway “Via Acquarola” until crossing the Agerola-Amalfi road. Continue in the direction of Agerola until to reach the hamlet of Tovere of Amalfi, after which, proceed on the right, always on a paved road, to the centre of Tovere village (m 397).
Along the road you will find the 13th century Church of Sant’Anna. At the end of the asphalt road you will find the staircase from Agerola, which reaches to Amalfi. Along this stairway runs the 361CAI.

Il sentiero presenta due chiusure con grata e nastro arancione sia a valle (Fiordo di Furore) che a monte (Punta Tavola). Le chiusure sono divelte e facilmente aggirabili. L’accesso invece diretto dalla statale nei pressi del ponte sul fiordo di Furore è chiuso con un muro.
Il sentiero è percorribile al netto di qualche albero caduto, aggirabile con un po’ di agilità. La traccia resta sempre chiara e visibile.

stiamo organizzando un’escursione da Agerola al fiordo di furore per il 20 maggio. Il sentiero nonostante sia chiuso, è ancora percorribile?
