The trail connects the 312a CAI to the Upper Trail of the chain of Monti Lattari (300 CAI) at the place named “Pietrapiana”. It begins at the intersection between 312a and 312b (m 487) where you have to proced to the left until the intersection with the trail wich leads the place named “Vena del Coviello”. At that intersection climb to the right to reach Pietrapiana (m 955), where the route ends at the intersection with 300 CAI. The trail is easily identifiable by the presence of the newsstands of the Via Crucis.

Sentiero ben tenuto, agevolissimo da percorrere. Ad ottobre 2019 è libero da impedimenti e può essere percorso con facilità. Le edicole aiutano a individuarlo, ma il sentiero è facilmente individuabile anche nei tratti in cui non sono più presenti.
Aggiornamento estate 2021: il sentiero rimane pulitissimo e ben segnato. Prestate solo attenzione all’eventuale presenza di cani pastore in vetta a Pietrapiana.
