How to get there

The trail begins from the central and famous square of Capri "Piazza Umberto I" (also known as "Piazzetta"), where you can get by funicolar departing from Marina Grande port. From the port you can also reach the square by foot or by bus.

Description

From “Piazza Umberto I” take “Via Longano” and follow the signs for “Villa Jovis”. At the crossroads of the Cross, turn left on “Via Tiberio”, continue on “Via Tamborio” and, shortly before “Casa Moneta”, turn left onto “Via Rachele Federico”. It goes down and then goes up a canal and, after passing “Villa Fersen”, along a natural path to the “Calanche”, until to reach the entrance of “Villa Jovis”.
